The part of town extending along Sir Francis Drake to the west of Oak Manor contains a couple of neighborhoods worth noting. Canon Village is a popular townhome development, with streets named after tennis terms like Wimbledon Ln and Deuce Ct, since it’s adjacent to the Cañon Swim & Tennis Club. It’s a pleasant complex and one of the better options for condos in Fairfax. On the way out of town lies Baywood Canyon, with a development of large Craftsman style homes on big lots, built in the 90s. There’s a community pool and a private Equestrian Center with riding lessons and boarding, and the setting among the trees and open space is beautiful. Homes here fetch some of the highest prices in the area.
