Almonte has traditionally been a little under the radar as Mill Valley neighborhoods go, but that has been changing. People like the almost rural feel and relaxed vibe and though with much of the homes perched on the hillside some don’t have the yards you get down in the flats, you get some fantastic views out over Richardson Bay. With the hill facing west, as the aptly named Morning Sun Ave suggests there is a lot of sun early in the day. It’s close to Tam High so it’s convenient for those with teenage kids and SF commuters love the convenience of catching the bus to The City on Almonte Blvd.
